about

This is a 'best of', that is, 'most of' compilation of ambient/atmospheric chamber music I have made over the past 8 years or so, culled from a variety of sources, including 'Neil Burns' albums, stray instrumentals from Comrade Hat releases, as well as previously unreleased material from a film soundtrack (Things that Came After) , and a live recording, all remastered for this release.
The albums these came from are mostly available for streaming or download on this page.

about

Neil Burns Downpatrick, UK

Neil Burns is a composer based in Derry & Down, N. Ireland. His work navigates the cracks between impressionism, minimalism, ambient and contemporary classical, with hints of jazz, and pop culture debris.

He also writes odd pop/jazz/folk songs with Comrade Hat and, more occasionally, electronica as Withneil and I.
